Product Description
The BMW B58B30 is a 3.0-liter (2998 cc) inline 6-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that has been produced since 2015 at the Munich plant. It is used in high-performance versions of BMW’s rear- and all-wheel-drive models and belongs to the modular B-series engine family. The B58 features direct injection, Valvetronic, Double-VANOS, and an integrated water-to-air intercooler for efficient thermal management.
There are two generations of the B58 engine, with improvements in thermal efficiency and output. It serves as the base for the S58 performance engines found in M models.
The B58B30 delivers 326 to 388 hp and 450 to 500 Nm of torque, providing strong, refined performance across a wide range of BMW models.
