Product Description

The Peugeot EP6DT (5FX) is a 1.6-liter Prince-series turbocharged engine produced from 2006 to 2010 and installed on higher-trim models such as the Peugeot 207, Peugeot 308, and Citroën C4. It debuted in 2006 on the Peugeot 207 CC convertible with 150 hp, later joined by the 140 hp 5FT version for models paired with the AL4 automatic transmission. This power unit features an aluminum cylinder block with cast iron liners, an aluminum 16-valve DOHC cylinder head with hydraulic lifters, a timing chain drive, an adjustable oil pump, an electric coolant pump, and a BorgWarner K03 TwinScroll turbocharger with intercooler. Unlike the naturally aspirated Prince engines, the EP6DT lacks Valvetronic variable valve lift and uses a Vanos phase regulator only on the exhaust camshaft.
