Hyundai G6DA is a 38 liter V6 gasoline engine produced in the US from 2004 to 2016 installed on Grandeur and ix55 it belongs to the Lambda family with two generations the first Lambda I from 2005 featured aluminum block 60 degree V angle aluminum DOHC heads without hydraulic lifters multiport injection timing chain and intake manifold with 2 stage geometry plus CVVT only on intake cams in 2008 Lambda II debuted with CVVT on all camshafts and a plastic intake manifold with 3 stage geometry the 3778 cc engine has 96 mm bore 87 mm stroke output 250–267 PS 184–196 kW 247–263 hp at 6000 rpm and torque 35–355 kgm 343–348 Nm 253–257 lbft at 4500 rpm.
