Product Description

The 2.4-liter Hyundai G4KE engine, part of the Theta II MPi family, was produced in South Korea and the United States from 2008 to 2019 and used in larger models such as the Sonata, Sorento, and Santa Fe. Production continues at Hyundai’s plant in China for the local market. This inline 4-cylinder engine features a compression ratio of 10.5:1 and delivers 178–179 PS (131–132 kW; 176–177 hp) at 6,000 rpm with 23.2–23.5 kg⋅m (168–170 lb⋅ft; 228–230 N⋅m) of torque at 4,000 rpm.
