Product Description
The 1.6-liter Hyundai G4FJ engine, also known as the 1.6 T-GDi, has been produced in Korea since 2011 and is used in popular models such as the Sportage, Tucson, Ceed, Seltos, Kona, Veloster, and Soul. This engine is part of the Gamma series and features a twin-scroll turbocharger, air-guided intercooler, direct fuel injection, and dual Continuous Variable Valve Timing (CVVT). It produces 204 PS (150 kW; 201 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 27 kg⋅m (265 N⋅m; 195 lb⋅ft) of torque from 1,500 to 4,500 rpm. A detuned version is also available with 177 PS (130 kW; 175 hp) at 5,500 rpm.
