Product Description
The 2.0-liter Mazda LF17 engine was produced from 2002 to 2013 and used on popular models of the third and sixth series, with a variant called LF18 installed on the first-generation Mazda 6. Its successor, the 2.0-liter Mazda LFF7, was manufactured from 2004 to 2011 and fitted on the restyled Mazda 6 and Mazda 5, and also appeared on Ford vehicles under the SYDA index. The 2.0-liter Mazda LF-DE was in production from 2002 to 2015, powering Asian versions of Mazda 3, 5, 6, and MX-5, as well as Ford models under the CJBA index, while the LF-VE variant featured a variable valve timing system. The 2.0-liter Mazda LF-VD, also known as MZR 2.0 DISI, was produced from 2010 to 2018 for European and Japanese versions of Mazda 3, 5, 6, and the Biante minivan, with some markets receiving a slightly modified LF-VDS version.
