Product Description

The Mercedes M272 E30 engine is a 3.0-liter (2,996 cc) V6 gasoline engine positioned between the M272 E35 and M272 E25, developed as a replacement for the older M112 E28. It shares the aluminum 90° V-shaped engine block with the E35 version but features smaller cylinder bores and a short-stroke crankshaft. With a bore and stroke of 88 mm × 82 mm (3.46 in × 3.23 in), the engine delivers a maximum output of 231 PS (170 kW; 228 bhp) at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 300 Nm (221 lb⋅ft) available between 2500–5000 rpm, offering a balance of power, refinement, and efficiency.
