Product Description
The Renault M9T (2.3 dCi) is a 2.3-liter four-cylinder diesel engine developed by Renault and produced since 2010 at the Cléon plant, primarily for light commercial vehicles such as the Renault Master III, Opel Movano B, and Nissan NV400. Structurally derived from the smaller M9R 2.0-liter engine, it features a cast-iron block, an aluminum 16-valve cylinder head with hydraulic lifters, a timing chain drive, a Bosch Common Rail fuel injection system, and one or more turbochargers depending on the version. Power output ranges from 75 kW (101 hp) to 110 kW (150 hp) with torque figures between 185 N·m and 350 N·m, meeting Euro 6 emission standards. The engine exists in multiple configurations — from single fixed-geometry turbo to variable-geometry and Twin-Turbo versions — and has evolved through three generations (2010, 2014, 2019). For pickup applications such as the Nissan Navara and Mercedes-Benz X-Class, it is rebadged as YS23 and OM699 respectively, with minor calibrations to suit each manufacturer's performance and emission requirements.

Car Engine Parts Diagram

Let us take a look at a detailed car engine parts diagram, which highlights the essential internal components of an engine. This type of diagram helps us visualize the exact location and arrangement of each part. It typically includes major elements such as the rocker cover, rocker arms, valve springs, cylinder head, spark plugs, valves, engine block, pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, camshaft, timing chain, oil pump, oil pan, and flywheel. Also shown are related parts like the ignition distributor, fuel pump, gaskets, and distribution components. By referring to such a diagram, we can gain a better understanding of how these parts interact to power a vehicle's engine.
