The Toyota 3UR-FE is a 5.7-liter (5,663 cc) V8 gasoline engine introduced in 2007 for use in the company’s largest SUVs and pickups, including the Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and Lexus LX570. It features Dual VVT-i but does not include D-4S direct injection. With a bore and stroke of 94 mm × 102 mm, the engine delivers 381 hp (284 kW; 386 PS) at 5,600 rpm and 543 Nm (401 lb⋅ft) at 3,600 rpm, using a 10.2:1 compression ratio. It employs a stainless steel exhaust manifold with an integrated 3-way catalytic converter and has a maximum engine speed of 6,000 rpm. The engine is cast at Bodine Aluminum, assembled in Alabama for Sequoia and Tundra, and in Tahara, Japan for Land Cruiser and Lexus models. A flex-fuel variant (3UR-FBE) supporting E85 ethanol was also introduced in select markets. The service weight of the engine is 222 kg, and it underwent over 1.3 million kilometers of durability testing to ensure long-term reliability.
