Product Description
The 3.4-liter Toyota 5VZ-FE is a V6 gasoline engine produced by Toyota Motor Corporation from 1995 to 2004, developed as a replacement for the 3VZ-E. Compact and economical, it was designed primarily for light buses and SUVs, offering strong peak torque at medium revs, making it well suited for off-road and light commercial vehicles. The engine has a displacement of 3,378 cc with a 93.5 mm bore and 82 mm stroke, a compression ratio of 9.6:1, and features a DOHC layout with a cast-iron block and aluminum 24-valve head. Power output is 142 kW (190 hp; 193 PS) and 298 N·m (220 lb·ft) of torque for the Tacoma, and 136 kW (183 hp; 186 PS) with 294 N·m (217 lb·ft) for the 4Runner. Typical fuel consumption is 17–19 liters per 100 km in urban conditions and 14–15 liters in suburban driving.
