Product Description

The Volkswagen 1.4-liter CAVD engine, produced in Mladá Boleslav from 2008 to 2018, is a TSI unit combining a turbocharger and a mechanical supercharger, delivering 118 kW (160 PS; 158 bhp) at 5,800 rpm and 240 N·m (177 lb·ft) across 1,750–4,500 rpm. It was widely used in models such as the Golf Mk5, Golf Mk6, Jetta TSI Sport, Tiguan, and Scirocco Mk3. In 2013, the updated CTHD version replaced the CAVD, retaining the same power and torque characteristics.
