Product Description

The 1.0-liter 8-valve Suzuki F10A engine, produced from 1979 to 2012, is a 970 cc SOHC unit with a bore and stroke of 65.5 mm × 72 mm. It debuted in 1978 on the Suzuki SC100 and became widely known through its use in the Suzuki Jimny SJ410 SUV. As the longest-running member of Suzuki’s F engine family, it served as the basis for the Chinese LJ462Q and LJ465Q engines. To comply with emissions regulations, the F10A was upgraded in 2005 with fuel injection and a catalytic converter for the Indonesian Suzuki Carry 1.0, meeting Euro 2 standards, and again in 2017 to meet Euro 4 for the Vietnamese Suzuki Super Carry. Remarkably, this engine remained in production in Vietnam and Myanmar as of 2020, a testament to its simple, durable design.
